Mar 24, 2026 2:10 PMI am seeking clarification regarding eligibility. Our organization provides direct services in Bernalillo County, but we also provide training and participate in statewide initiatives related to child advocacy and system improvement. Would an organization with direct services limited to one county, but with statewide training and statewide systems-level involvement, be considered eligible under this RFP? Or does the RFP require that the applicant’s direct victim services themselves be provided statewide?Yes,  the RFP requires that the direct victim's services themselves be provided statewide. Please refer to page 8 of the RFP under the "Scope of Work section” Eligible applicants include non‐profit, non‐governmental victim service organizations, including faith‐based and other community organizations, including Tribal non‐ profit organizations, based in New Mexico, that provide direct services to survivors of crime with ensuring their victims’ rights are being adhered too. Eligible applicants will have an established Victim's Rights Project that will provide direct services to victims of violent crime, to include legal representation and assistance to assert and enforce their constitutional and statutory rights in the criminal justice system. These services will be provided statewide. Activities can include but are not limited to providing professional assistance to victims of crime with legal advocacy which include timely legal review, direct legal representation, legal advice, preparation of motions and memoranda to prosecutors asserting victim rights, and liaison with the criminal justice system on the victims' behalf.
